Sharing Your Cap Table

Tutorial

To invite your investors, employees, advisors, lawyers, etc. to your cap table, there are two ways:

In Share Settings View

First, you can share the cap table from the Share Cap Table tab on the left panel. Here, you grant access at three different levels:

  • Ownership - For stakeholders viewing their individual ownership. You can choose to share the fully diluted ownership percentage your stakeholders' instruments represent, in addition to the number of shares.
  • Summary - For viewing a summary of the cap table, such as how many stock classes there are, and how many shares are outstanding, but not detailed ownership of every stakeholder
  • Detailed - For users viewing full cap table details and running scenarios with cap table data. An example use case: legal admins sharing read-only access with founders.
  • Admin - For users maintaining cap tables, such as founders, finance teams, legal teams, etc.

In Stakeholder View

Second, you can share with stakeholders by going to the Stakeholders view. Use the Share button on the right for each individual stakeholder, or click on the bulk-sharing button on top to share with all stakeholders who do not have access to their holdings yet.

This method of sharing keeps access limited to the stakeholder's own holdings and they are not able to make any changes.
